Tracy Has a Big Chop for Charity

For most of us, even the thought of shaving our head would make us want to run for the hills.  But not Allied’s Tracy McCullough, who has braved the hair cut of all haircuts, shaving her head to raise vital funds for the Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract.

Tracy, who used to have luscious brown locks, said goodbye to her hair with help from her husband Mark who brilliantly chopped and shaved, it all being caught on camera.  Tracy says:

“I was aware of the catastrophic effect the Covid19 pandemic was having on all normal fundraising for the Prince of Wales Hospice, all public events being cancelled or postponed.  So, as I was unable to carry on my fundraising work at Allied, I decided to shave my head, which has already raised a staggering £1,210.00.  I am absolutely thrilled.”

People are still able to donate to Tracy’s GoFundMe page.
